I agree with you 100% mate. It all adds to my assertion that control of the beautiful game should be in the hands of those of us who care, and not FIFA, who clearly do not. Your bit about the FA declining use of the fly-away ball is also interesting A bit of foresight would have persuaded them that it might be a good idea to let our chaps practise with it a bit. Anyway, fingers crossed that, as you say, teams can eventually get the hang of it in time to neutralise the Teutons' evident advantage. Howbeit, for all my grumpiness about FIFA and the unnecessary stupidities which STILL prevail in football, yet I am enjoying the World Cup and thank you for creating this platform for pontificating old gits like me to tell the world what I think. I do hope the world is reading this :0)
